Who are we?
The Public Housing Action Network is made up of public housing tenants, private residents, and community activists. We have come together to protect public housing and working class communities at Bellambi Estate and across the Illawarra.
What is happening to Bellambi Estate?
The NSW government has plans to demolish the existing homes at Bellambi and replace them with 3 to 6 storey apartments and a shopping complex, the majority of which will be privately owned.
